    Rear engine snapper differential repair
How does the rear axle separate, I need to replace the left hub bearing/bushing?
Not sure if that is the correct name.

    Hi,
Give me some numbers of the machine and I can possibly send you to a parts breakdown. Generally, the rear wheels come off, the side pieces of at least one side of the frame are taken loose and the pear-shaped drive/differential case is separated by halves. Upon reassembly, it is filled(not completely) with 00 grease.
    Peace,

Thank you for your response, the removal process that you stated is what I was trying to do, but someone welded the left hub and I even found the culprit.

There was more damage than just changing the bushing/bearing, so I went hunting and luckly found a very good differential for $40 and am currently refurbishing it.

    Thanks again.
