    US Citizenship Problem
Hello and thank you for your time.

I have a question. I came to the US to live permanently with my father when I was 11 years old. I got into some trouble at school when I turned 18 (30 days after) and for that misdemeanor I signed a voluntary return to My country because I was intimidated by INS to be in jail for many months before I could be deported if I didn't sign the document. I returned to the US illegally claiming to be a US citizen a month later and got detained again 6 months later for doing my probation and I was sent back again for the same document I had signed. I finally came back and stayed off the radar until I was 25 when I left to my country and came back to be deported for claiming to be a US citizen right in the border. Now that I am 30 I realized my father became a US citizen when I was 17 and although my visa was approved when I was 20 I was never able to get it because I was supposed to be out of the country. Can I still file anything based on the fact that I should have turned a citizen at age 17? I have never been in trouble except when I was in high school and that was for throwing eggs at my rival high school with my friends. If anybody has a legal advise that can help me please let me know.

    Thank you.
