Harbor Breeze Dual Dimmer Switch Confusion
I have an HB fan ready to go -- installed, wired and ready to snap into place. The issue is on the switch. I also replaced a single on/off switch with a dual dimmer from HB (can't go wrong with the same brand, right). I have to admit, this one has me stumped. Here's the set-up:

    1. I have a black/white/ground coming into the switch from the house wiring.
    2. I have a black/white/red/ground going out to the fan.
    3. The dual dimmer has black(fan motor), blue (light), striped b&w (AC Line In), green (ground)

When I connect the house line to the fan/light line directly, it works. When I add the switch... nothing. I imagine, I'm missing something with coupling some wires.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

    You connect:

Black from house wire - striped b&w on switch
White from house wire - white from fan wire
Black from fan wire - black on switch
Red from fan wire - blue on switch
Ground from fan wire - ground from house wire - ground from switch.

If the controls are reversed, switch the red and black fan wires.
