    Salary and vacation
    I just got paid 40 hours for 1 weeks paid vacation.. but the 4th of juky is on the same week as my vacation was... do I get straight 40 hours pay or do I get 40 hours vacation plus 8 hours holiday pay?

    If I am a salaried employee getting paid for 40 hours per week and I just got paid for the week of 4th of July as my vacation week. Do I get paid a regular $1000 for my week or do I get the $1000 plus a paid holiday for 4th of July?

    You get paid for the week. Your vacation allotment should have been debited with 4 days.
