    Moving to full custody
    I live in West Virginia, my Fiancé and I have had our niece for a year now.. both biological parents have nothing to do with her, no calls, no letters, no support.. when can we move toward full custody

    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on another thread. This can lead to confusion. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    Why do you have you niece? What legal paperwork do you have to support your caring for her? Will the bio parents agree to custody?

    You can probably file now, but I'd like answers to the above before I can be sure.
