Help me with this... cause I can't keep trying if I should have to. I just need an opinion.
So I dated this guy I met that lived by my grandparents and he was one of my cousins friends but he was a year older than me. But we started dating in August of 2011 and we had broken up in September because I met a boy and got back together in November then broke up in January because he met another girl. But then in April we got back together. But we just broke up because he decided I wasn't good enough and he liked this other girl better.
But he was my first love and people say the first always burns your heart but I can't get over him. I blocked his number I keep trying to forget him but every time I go ouside of my grandparents I see his house and the alley in between the houses every time I pass through it, I think of us and I can't help but think he's going to come back. He told me he loved me and I always wanted to believe him but I don't know why I keep hoping he's coming back... what do I do? Do I keep trying or give up on it... please answer cause I'm about to go insane. He hates me but I can't stop hoping...

Seriously, he is with someone else. Stop waiting around for him to maybe come back. Move on. You are sounding desperate and desperation is not attractive.
