Cannot connect to wireless router from distance
    Hello,

After about a month of usage my wireless router suddenly stopped working after doing it's job flawlessly... To be more specific from like 2-3 meters distance I can connect to it but after I pass this limit it only shows the available connection to it but it doesen't connect. This happens to all my devices from smartphones to laptops.I've already tried everything even I rebooted it to factory defaults but no response.. I think it might be from the router itself because of this distance issue. Please help!

Check the router's antenna connection. Has the router been dropped or abused?

Well actually I don't think so because I've never moved it after installation... the weird thing is if I connect to it from 1 meter after I pass 3 meters it remains connected but the webpage cannot be displayed... and sometimes all of a sudden it starts working again but for short periods...

Another less likely condition could be the presence of a strong source of interference, such as a 2.4 GHz. Cordless phone. Have you tried another router?

Not yet but I'm going to buy a new one to see if that will work and come back with a response.

    Hi ,

My name is Rathish and I am working with Dell Social Media Team.
You have mentioned in the post that you are not able to connect to internet wirelessly from certain distance. And as you have mentioned that you have put the router to default and still you are getting issue.
Since you have tried the steps suggested by hardware expert and new member. I have just one suggestion on this issue. Please try and change the channel of the router to 6 or 11. Let's see if that does any good to it . Or else as you said you can try a different router and I am sure it should fix it.
Please let me know if you need any further help.

    Thanks & Regards,
