    What happened to my foot and can I swim?
    So I stepped on a hill wrong and my foot popped. Its swollen and tender and feels weird compared to the other foot. I think its sprained. This happened today. Can I swim in my swim meet?

    Erm, your coach and the others on your team aren't going to notice your swollen ankle and your limp?

    Hi,

    It will be better to go to your doctor for an examination and an X-ray of the ankle before you go for your swim meet. He/ she will be better able to tell you if you can go swimming.
