A basin wrench is used as a grabbing type wrench in places where you do not have room to turn a handle. It extends up to close places and leverages from an open place, typically taking faucets off sinks and lavatories and tightening nuts in places that a handle can not turn. |

I am trying to remove a shower basin from my basement. It is set on concrete. The basin is fiberglass. The pipe coming from the floor is iron (rusty too). How is the basin attached to the pipe? Adhesive? Is something screwed down? Help? Thanks. Christina
