 If I'm not mistaken you have taken two liquids and mixed them together.  The reaction created a solid.  It was in small particulate form Copper Sulphate (blue in colour).  You then filtered this solid out of the water using a cheese cloth or paper filter.  The filtrate is the solid (Copper Sulphate).  
I might be wrong here it has been a long time since my last chemistry lesson.  Over 20 years.
