    My boyfriend has checked out..
So about a week ago my boyfriend just started freaking out. We have been together 2 years and lived together pretty much the entire time. He told me he needed his space and that he is "confused as a person and with life". He packed all his stuff up and moved out today. I'm hysterical.I know our relationship isn't perfect nor has been. I have been very calm through this whole ordeal in hopes it shows I'm willing to help and fight through this. But I'm not getting anything out of him. He seems shutdown. He tells me he isn't breaking up nor wants to and is still affectionate but when it comes to talking with him he feels so disconnected. By him leaving is this his way of ending it? Should I just give him his space? I'm heartbroken because I thought our relationship was good. UPS and downs like.every other. Advice is much needed. Thank you.

I have to say I don't think this was a sudden thing for him, its probably been on his mind for a while. Did you notice any change is his behaviour towards the breakup.

Go with no contact, let him know what he has lost... read the sticky's on this site, helped me a lot through my breakup.

You have to show you can go on without him, any relationship should be equal effort and balance, I'm sure there were some signs that you just didn't notice.

Hang in there, I know its super tough but always remember you were "DATING" not married, therefore the tables can turn.
