    Infant,diahhrea,traces of blood
    My 1 and a half year old wake up with a fever and diahhrea mucoid with traces of blood what to do?

    Hi thanks for your concren but I would like to tell you and several mothers that this case is not abnormal.
    My child had a cold recently and was on antibiotics and weather has changed severely where I live so this case is called acute inflammatory diahhrea which may accompained by fever,abdominal cramps,traces of blood in stool.
    Thank god I gave her the proper medication to treat the diahhrea and she is improving gradualy from yesterday.

    Now if you put all of this info in your original post, I know my answer would have been different.

    See, you have to give all the info to get the most accurate response.

    I did not know that your child had been ill, I did not know that your child was on antibiotics. All you said was that your child had blood streaked mucoid in his/her diarrhea, which, under healthy circumstances is cause for concern.
