    Friend supposedly has ADHD
There is a girl in my class named MaryKate and she always gets picked on recently I have tried to be friends with her and we are really alike she is really nice just a little different and people (mostly girls in my class) pick and gossip about her behind her back I stick up for her and one day she was crying about it and she never cries and then one night I was at a sleepover (she was not there) and one of her friends (and like only one except me and another girl) Rachel WHO IS A REALLY CLOSE FRIEND was mad so she and I went into another room and talked about how nice she is and rachel said she can't help being how she is and she told me she had adhd and now I know but marykate doesn't know I know should I tell her I know if so how? Please Help Me

It sounds like Rachel and these other nasty gossipy girls are real pills and someone I would avoid. MaryKate may not have ADHD (and so what if she does?) and Rachel is just spreading what she thinks is nastiness. It sounds like Rachel has some major issues of her own.

Continue to be MaryKate's friend. I put my money on her as being someone worth knowing.

Continuing on from what Wondergirl said, which is a very good answer I might add.

Keep sticking up for MaryKate too, I know when I was in middle school I would have loved to have someone stick up for me when I was being picked on.

There is nothing wrong with ADHD, it's a very common disorder. People with ADHD are usually less attentative and more compulsive, but that doesn't mean they are any different because of it.

Rachel is nice she sticks up for marykate too and I am almost positive she has adhd because someone mentioned in class that her friend has it and marykate freaked out and pretended her friend had adhd you must have read my thing wrong I didn't write it clear enough but RACHEL IS NICE

Most likely about 1/10 or more of your school has it, they may or may not medicate and go though school with little notice. Others have it worst. No deal to make of it at all

Has she been officially diagnosed or is this just a gossipy bit going around? I say it's no one's business. Continue to be nice to her and stick up for her if someone bullies her.

It's none of your business. Just continue to be her friend.

Interesting how you suddenly know so much about this, but in the beginning with your first post "[Rachel] told me she had adhd and now I know."
