I am too shy to go talk to the girl I like and a thing that makes it even worse is
That her best friend might know that I like her, also always I get eye contact with her my face turns red and that is really embarrassing, I never get good chance to talk to her and I'm afraid that she finds me as boring person, I don't have anything to impress her with, and because I don't really have any special skills, I don't have any self respect either. I'm afraid that she's going to start a relationship with somebody else.

Well, I like to spend my day outside unlike many of my friends spend it playing PC.

You don't you have any self-respect because you don't have any special skills? Having self respect should have nothing to do with not being able to find what you're good at. I say not be able to find, because we're all good at something. Some of us take a long time to figure out what it is. I say figure out what it is, because we're all good at something, we just need to figure it out.
Girls like guys with confidence. Confidence can be a few different things though, it's important to be able to tell the difference. I think the best confidence, is the confidence that allows you to try new things and not get discouraged if you fail, kind of like looking at the bright side of things, or seeing the glass half full instead of half empty.
You'll never get her if you don't talk to her, so if you really can't work up the courage to start a conversation, you can forget about her. It's only as hard as you make it.

Many girls like guys with confidence, but many girls like shy, awkward, clumsy guys too. The man I loved more than anyone in my 65 years was like that when I met him. Within a short time, he was full of confidence. So much so that 13 years later, he left me.
If you like the outdoors, ask her to walk with you and have lunch outdoors, and you will bring sandwiches and drinks. If that's too much talking at first, how about walk you know won't last more than about 15 minutes?

Like joypulv, I always liked the shy and maybe klutzy guys too. Those were the guys who weren't full of themselves and bragging all the time--the ones who wanted girls to worship the very ground they walked on.
I like joy's idea about the walk. One shy guy I dated knew about the historical (Frank Lloyd Wright) homes near where we were going to college together, so we'd take walks past those homes, and he'd tell me about them and ol' Frank. Maybe you could go for a walk in the woods or in the neighborhood after first visiting the public library--have a project together to read up on and identify birds or trees or house styes (saltbox, Victorian, Georgian) on walks.

Shy college student and getting worse.

I am a freshman college student. I have always been a shy and quiet person, but warmed up to friendly people fairly quickly. Now that I'm older things have gotten worse. When I am confronted by acquaintances and strangers I tend to give one word responses and can rarely keep a conversation going. I...
