How to remove old bath tub with in-built radiator
Hi, we want to remodel a bathroom that is from the 60's. It currently has a bath which we would like to take out and replace with a shower instead. When we went to remove the bath, we discovered that it has a built in radiator with the radiators coming straight through the floor where we wanted to put a shower cubicle. Can we simply remove the bath and the inbuilt radiator and close off the pipes or do we need to put the two pipes together? And if so how do we do it? Also how would you find out if it is on the same circuit as the rest of the rdiators? Would it be automatically? Anyone who knows anything about these old style baths and how to remove them please help! Thanks.
