    Laws about living rent free in Tennessee
    How long does a person have to live in a residence or stay with someone to be considered a tenant /

    If its rent free they will never be considered a tenant but they will be a resident. Where do you live, laws vary? A resident, like a tenant, must be evicted if they will not leave on their own. Is this the situation you niow find yourself in? Try to give a few lore details about your situation.

    Are they living with you or living in a house you own that you allowed them to move into.

    What was the agreement when they moved in.

    If they moved in and were to stay just a week as guests, or did they move in with no date to leave ?

    If they move into one of my houses in TN, the day they move in, I would have to evict them to get them out.
