    Starter removal on honda 3013 lawnmower
    Need to remove the starter on the 3013 hydrostatic model. Where do I start?

I have a honda 3013 hydrostatic mower. It runs great, then all of a sudden when I turn the key it won't start. It has power (buzzes when I move out of neutral) and the pto is off, the parking brake is set and I'm sitting on it. Any ideas? Thanks all.

I just put in a new starter and battery. It will start quickly and run for about 1.5 minutes very smooth. Then it will back fire a couple times and shut off. When I looked into the motor the starter was smoking hot. Any ideas what would cause this? After it cools down it starts right back up...
