First time sex
Should I tell the guy I've been seeing that I'm a virgin before we have sex?

First off, make sure YOU'RE ready to have sex not just because you really like this guy or he wants to have sex. You have to be emotionally ready. The first time can make you an emotional wreck and feel very vulnerable. Now, I take it he's not a virgin right? You should definitely tell him you're a virgin. He will need to know that so he takes it easy on you. It can be slightly painful for you as a virgin. He should know how to handle it.

First of you said you're "seeing" him, sounds like it's a fresh relationship? Take your time, don't rush things. Once you feel comfortable you won't have to ask other people what to do. You'll be able to tell him things like that without feeling as if it was a mistake. But yes, tell him you're a virgin prior to being in that position. That way he should know it's probably a big deal for you.

But to also answer it, yes, since it is very very likely it will be extremely painful for you, and you will need them to stop. He has to know this and agree to stop if you tell him to.

Do we know how old you are? If you are just "seeing" this person I think sex at this early stage could be a mistake.
But, yes, I would share the "virgin" part.

I don't think telling him as part of a conversation in a relationship serious enough to involve sex is making a big deal out of anything.
Just be straight forward and tell him.
