I have been with my boyfriend for the part year and a half and in the last half year he barely ever wants to have sex. He always seems to turn me down and when we do have sex it's not romantic, it's just seems to be "sex". He's very loving in every other way. We are so close and he is my best friend and it is killing me inside to think he's not attracted to me or he doesn't want me. I don't think he's cheating on me but he's always too tired. I know he works hard and he says he's trying his best to have more sex with me but we barely have sex once a week. He is more interested in watching TV or playing his online games. I love him so much and we have talked about getting married ( we are both 22 ) I'm just scared if we barely have sex now what will it be like when we get married? He never wants to make out with me or kiss me passionately because he says then he wants to have sex but I don't see the problem with wanting to have sex. Even when we are having sex he barely kisses me because he says he needs to concentrate. Concentrate on what? I feel repulsive and ugly, I don't know what to do. I have talked to him and he says he's trying his best and why can't I just except that and get over it. He says it's not me it's the fact he works hard and is tired but I'm not so sure. What do I do?

You need to tell him how much this is bothering you, and that his response to you asking why, isn't solving the issue for you.

Tell him that you're worried, that this is a sign of what your future with him holds, and that you can't see yourself accepting that future.

Talking to him about it is the best way, which you've done, but he's not being fair, he's not giving you answers, he's making you feel guilt for asking, and that's not what a relationship is about.
