    Credit Card Debt
    We are looking at Medicaid for my 80 year old mother who is in need of Nursing Home care. If she is accepted to Medicaid, all her assests, aside from her home (which is protected by the state's Homestead Act) will revert to Medicaid. What do we do about her unsecured debt about $7000 in credit card bills, tax bills on the house and money to maintain the house?
