    Establish paternity
    Hello finally maybe I can get some answers my sons father passed away when I was 3 months pregnant I need to establish paternity for Social security benefits someone please help me with where to begin I live in phx az he has been deceased almost 3 years my son is now 2.

    In my area you go to Court, explain the situation and ask that DNA be done on certain of his family members.

    Is he on the birth certificate?

    Agree, you go to court to establish paternity, normally it can be tested though a close family member.

    A court order to take DNA samples at this time of death would have been better, but that is too late now.
