    My toilet tank won't fill up after each flush.. its making a whisp noice and I. have to fill it up myself

    Hi Christi

    It sounds like your toilet fill valve has gotten something lodged under the fill valve washer.

    If you have a fluidmaster type of fill valve click on the video below to see how to make the repair needed to resolve this issue:



    If your fill valve is different than above then the principles are about the same as in the video above to fix the issue for all fill valve models.

    If you have a really old fill valve then it is better to simply replace the old fill valve over to a new fluidmaster fill valve.
