Hello,
I have been with my girlfriend for a couple years now and we are expecting to have a child in September. We had a good, strong relationship and started to crumble towards the end of last year. We split up for a couple weeks, not saying a word to each other, except for a couple of text messages here and then. We decide to get back together after the couple week breakup. I find out she is pregnant and the baby is expected to be born in September. I stay positive and optimistic about it. I am excited until one day at work people started telling me things like your okay with this. Come to find out during our couple week breakup she had slept with another man in attempt to "get over me". Whatever I am heartbroken for a few weeks but decide I need to be the adult and take care of her at least during the pregnancy. She swears it's mine and says the doctor told her the baby was conceived after we were back together. Only problem I couldn't make it to that appointment because I had to work and my boss would threaten to fire me if I did not show up. I have gone to every other appointment with her to this date. I have brought up previously I want to take a paternity test to know for sure. She comes back threatening me she will leave the country and I will never get to see my son again. I don't know what to do. I am only 50% sure the child is mine. I know I am not in love with her like I used to be. I need help please. Is there anyway I can take a paternity test without her knowing? What do I do?!

What u can do is talk to the dr when she is in labor and ask him u want to get the test done to know if it is yours and u don't want her to know.

Thank you for your response Mickey. But is this legal? Is this expensive. I live in Michigan. I make enough money to get by.

I don't think it cost much and the dr will let you know I would say its legal because if your not the father and put your name as father its more trouble to take it off

Okay thank you Mickey. I hope your right. At first I believed her and ever since I found out, she has been pushing on us getting married and putting her name on the house deed. She also flipped on me for "doubting my own son". I don't know if those are signs of her own doubt or what

Don't put her name on anything till you find out if that baby is yours
