I have been off work on FMLA my doctor cleared me for work after working one day my employer put me on administrative leave saying they needed a list of all the medication I am on my doctor does not know why they are asking for this are they allowed to ask for this?

HEPA is a hepatitis type. You mean HIPAA.
Yes, your employer is allowed to know your medicines to determine if you are a risk to other employees, to clients, to the job itself, and to the safety around the building. The days of doctors just clearing a patient to go back to work are gone, because companies have liabilities too, and doctors only know what you tell them about your job. |
