    Can I change the fathers name my daughters birth certificate
    I've just found out that the person I thought was my daughters father is not can I change it to father unknown as I don't know who it is .

    How did the legal father get on the birth certificate? Did he sign a acknowledgment of paternity? Where are you? How long ago was this? We can't really answer you without this information.

    We want to know if me the father and mother, can change the surname of our daughter from mother to father surname on the birth certificate . As the father My detail are all ready on birth certificate as father as I was there for the register of birth.
