    Submersible Pump Troubleshooting
    When the water pressure drops the pressure switch engages but the pump apparently does not turn on for a bit. Sometimes as long as 5 minutes, and seems to be getting worse. Whatnwould cause this? Pump is gould submersible 250 feet down.

    Check the points on the switch. They could be corroded. With the power off, give them two or three strokes with an emory board. If that helps, then replace the switch.

    How old is the pump?
