Well to start with I must say that I am having dating troubles and as most might say I may be a little too young to date or anything I am only 14 going into high school soon but I met a girl, an AMAZING girl in my eyes and I don't like her for the wrong reasons like just because she is hot or so I can dump her in a week and brag about it but because she is really nice and we have been friends for awhile but well a few months ago she asked me if I liked her, like loved her and I said yes and her too and all that but just recently she wanted to break up with me because she isn't supposed to have a boyfriend because of... well just something bad that happened in the past and the weird thing is she told someone else to tell me and didn't say it herself but she is saying she likes me just as much but she just can't have a relationship right now and it's a long story but to shorten it up she likes me a lot and another boy a little and she told me as so as she can she wants to get back together but I'm afraid that when I go to high school next year she will have another year to go and she will be there with the guy she now likes not a lot but if I'm not there I worry she won't take the thing she said to heart and will want to go out with him. There are minor details left out in the story but I guess I'm a little confused I really need help.

Well I see your confused you almost confused me! But I get the problem its simple and basically its just a choice that she has to make you or the other guy and that's pretty difficult sometimes but you get the point right? But if she does end up with the other guy well I think its weird because she even admits she loves you so really I think she should pick honestly

First, the minor details that are left out are actually big details too me. She is not suppose to have a boyfriend because something bad happened in the past. What did somebody tell you what happened to her?

Second, You can not control whether she likes you more or somebody else more. Things change. Things happen. You need to except whatever happens and know that there are no guarantees and that, yes, fourteen is too young to even know what a relationship is.

Third, You already said what you had to say to this girl. You hope she took what you said to heart. Let her take it anyway she is supposed to. You need to let her make up her own mind.

Fourth, Do not sit around waiting for a year. Quite honestly especially at this age it is common to like other people and to think that you should only be with one person especially now is not healthy.

Fifth, No need to panic, no need to be confused, no need to worry. Honestly if you two are meant to be together at some point, it will happen. Even if it is years later. If you both are meant to be it will happen one day. Might not be when you want. Or if it does not happen then you know it was not meant to be and one day you will find that special person. There is no need to put so much pressure on yourself. There is no need to worry about things that you can not control.

This is a time in your life you should enjoy. Not a time to be miserable and worry.
