1970's or 1980's anime movie
Hi. I have been looking for the title of an anime - probably 1970's to 80's. There's this scene where a king (or ruler) died and his soul became a bird-like spirit that soared to the sky... Only one man and woman survived in the ending. The woman turned to stone and the man was left all alone... Is anybody familiar with this anime?
