    Estimate tax refunds
    I am Indian. I am working under CPT program.
    For this year I will be approximately earning $ 38,961
    Federal with holdings are approx $ 6940
    CA with holdings are around $ 2100
    Fed MED + Fed OASDI WH around $ 158
    My tuition fees in the same year $22,172

    How much tax refunds I can expect?

    How long have you been on the visa?
    If less than 5 years you shouldn't be paying FICA taxes (unless you were an exempt individual before you had the F1 visa)

    I am here from 1 year on F1 visa. I do not know what is an exempt individual.

    I am single. These are for 2012. I mean I am still working as an intern. But I would like estimate returns so that I can arrange funds for next semester fees
