Craftsman 20HP ohv Intek - no start
I can use my lawn tractor, turn it off to empty lawn clippings several times and restart the engine with no problems, but if I turn it off for about 15 minutes I cannot restart the engine. I have even changed the spark plug, fuel and air filters without success. If I leave the mower for a couple hours it will restart easily. What is wrong?

Tap on the carburetor bowl to loosen the float
Works best with 2 people one tapping ---the other cranking

Varnish in fuel from storage in the off season is culprit
Let me know if I'm close to helping

Thank you Joey4029 for your input. I had (in the past) tried tapping on the bowl, but with one person only. When this intermittent problem reappears in the future (which I'm sure it will), I'll try your "2 person" approach. I will let you know.

    Thanks again.
