My friend, who weighs 525lbs, has an excessive period that rarely stops. She has suffered from this condition early on since her period began and before she became overweight. She has seen doctors and cannot take birthcontrol because she gets bloodclots. She has also tried 600mgs of Ibuprofen at the beginning of each period and this did not resolve the problem. This is a serious problem for my friend physically and emotionally for a number of reasons. At 28 she is still a virgin and obviously has a problem being intimate and not to mention her inability to have children. A hysterectomy may not be the solution to the problem, because she cannot take the post procedure hormones (she gets bloodclots). Can anyone offer advice for this problem if not a solution.
