I don't need to go to the doctor right?
Last night, about 14 hours ago, I jumped up and cut my head on the ceiling. It gushed blood for about 30 seconds and then I put some pressure on it and I think it stopped. I kept ice and a paper towel on it for a couple of hours and while there would be some blood on the paper towel I think that was just blood that was still in my hair because it wasn't much. After a few hours I took a shower and washed the blood out of my hair and I didn't see much so I'm assuming that means that the cut closed and the shower didn't open it back up. I slept for a few hours and when I woke up there was still no blood anywhere and other than tenderness around my cut and a slight headache I feel fine (I don't know if the headache is because of the cut, the lack of sleep or the fact that I was drinking last night, likely a combination of all three.) When I looked at the cut this morning it seemed small so I'm hoping I don't need to go to the doctor and I feel like I don't have to but I'm worried that I need to and I'm just convincing myself not to go. What do I do?
