My girlfriend is turning 16 as of today she lives with her step father her mother is a drug addict and is not around and her real father is not around either. Her step father is a pervert trying to get her to promise sexual activities with him since she was 14 she is now 16 me and her had a relation ship I'm 16 she was 15 when we had sexual acts but the step father got mad because I had her and he didn't. He forced her to move away from Louisiana to Missouri and now she's 16 can she get legally emancipated and come back to Louisiana to live with me. Her step father also has medical problems and might have cancer but that might help or might not but can she get emancipated and live with my parents I just want the best for her.

Nope. To become emancipated she will have to prove that she can function ENTIRELY on her own.

However, if her step father has been making sexual advances she needs to talk to someone about this, a school counselor or social worker. It is possible she can be removed from the household and placed in foster care. It might even be that your parents could foster her, but I doubt it since you committed an illegal act by having sex with her.

Agree nope but with that said, she also most likely does not have to stay with a step father who has no legal rights to her. She needs to contact CFS or CPS ( forget what it is called in MO) and report that she is living with a non family member and has no idea where her parents are ( if she doesnt') or that her parents will not allow her to live with them.

Most likely she will be put in foster care.


Of course your view of a perverted step father could also be a loving one, who is protecting his underage minor child from haivng under age sex.
Since you have confessed now publicly to having sex with a underage child.

I'm going to be harsh - it's early in the AM and maybe I didn't have enough coffee. So far in her life this girl possibly has been exposed to perverts - one may or may not be her stepfather. The other one is definitely her boyfriend.

I wouldn't go so far as calling the OP a pervert. A hormonally challenged teen yes.

But it is a question whether the step father moved away to protect his daughter from a predatory boyfriend or to keep her to himself. I suspect the OP is only getting the girl's side of this story so we don't know how much, if anything was made up.

Which is why the GIRL has to take action. Only she can report this because only she knows the truth. And she needs to tell the truth. If she accuses her step father of improper advances, he could spend time in jail and be tagged a sex offender for life. So she needs to make sure that she does the right thing.
