How do you tell when a bruise is in danger of turning into a blood clot?
My dad is 82 and stumped his shin the other day, not sure exactly when, it bruised where he hit it. The ankle is swelling now and showing some bruising as well. He is concerned about blood clots, I don't know when to woory about it or when to take him to the hospital to be checked by a medical professional.
