    What is the process for filing for full custody after my child is born
    At this point I really don't trust my baby daddy he is an alcoholic, he is supposed to go to jail for a dui ( or so he said) but I don't know when and he is controlling and possessive and I don't trust people he is always around, he lives in a bad neighborhood.. I don't want my child living in a place like that and I really Don't want him around alcohol and I just want to know the process of filing for full custody after my child is born.

    The father will of course have the right to contest your filing, your request will go though family court. And the father has the right to ask for joint custody, and of course visit, you can have full custody but the father if he requests it, can get visits.
