    185 hydro starter problem
    I have a john deere185 hydro , installed a jumper switch for improving and still I have a starting problem. Could it be the starter itself , as I can start it manually with a key on the side.

    Hi,
    Do you mean you put on an AM107421 Low Voltage Kit? That starter is over $300. The shift solenoid will likely cost over $80.
