My boyfriend is 16 and I'm 13... Is it legal to have a relationship?
It would just be like kissing , holding hands and stuff like that.. Not sex .

He's underage. He would need his parents permission to date you. They would have to be informed of your age, and they would have to agree. If they don't, then it wouldn't be legal to date him.

Both parents, his and yours will have to agree to allow you both to "date"

Next sorry but most 16 year old boys once they start kissing are not going to want to just stop there.

Sorry Alty, but this isn't true. Dating is not legislated, only sexual conduct between an adult and a minor is.

So you Marshmellows, it is legal to do the stuff your asking.

There are no laws governing dating. But you both need parental permission to date. At 13 you are too young for one on one dating. Also a 3 year gap is very big at your ages.

So ya Marshmellows, it is legal to do the stuff your asking.
Correct, but there ARE laws about parental interference. So if the parents do not agree to these two dating then it WOULD be illegal.

So, you are incorrect in advising them that it is legal.
