    I got fired for being sick
    I am working currently as a chef in a very bussie restaurant for past 8 months never ask for day off never before call in sick, never got a working worring or got into truble during work time, 2 days ago I felt very sick after work, next morning I wake up and start trowing up and feeling very sick, I coudnt get up from my bed for a whole day, today morning I went to my doctor who toold me it's a food poison she proscribe me medicine and give me sick note. I called my boss to let him know that I am sick and I can't make to work today and I will bring him my sick note where he said if I didn't come at 2pm I don't have job any more. I am not employed through books which means I don't pay tax or insurance, can he accualy fired me for being sick and briging the sick note.

    Yes, he can fire you for any reason. As you are not a legal employee on his books, that makes it even easier for him as you cannot fight this.
