    Baptism certifcate Greek
    Where do I get my daughters baptism certifcate? She was baptised in New Zealand . My Father organised it all and has now past away.

    Is this a trick question?

    I would start looking in New Zealand. Contact the church where the baptism was performed. My guess is that in NZ, (as is the case in the U.S.) a baptism certificate, as opposed to a birth certificate, has no legal significance.

    AZ lawyer, this had been posted in Christianity where I figured it would get lost, so I moved it to a legal board so you would see it. ;)

    I agree the church should be contacted. US churches keep the certificates on file and will send a copy to a parent.
