    factoring quadratic trinomials
    how do u do this since it has a negative sign,
    x to the 2nd power -11x +30
    what I have so far is..
    (x__ 5) (x__ 6)
    ?
    I HAVE A MATH FINAL I REALLY NEED HELP!!

    Welcome!

    Is it

    Yeah, you are right
    (x - 5) (x - 6) = 0
    x-5 = 0 and x - 6 = 0
    x = 5, and x = 6
    Or, X = 5, 6
    That is the reply.
