    Retail theft
    I am a tourist in chicago .I was caught in retail theft in old navy for goods amounting to usd 75.they took me to police station and gave me court date.
    Its my first time and I have no criminal record.im 34 yrs old.
    What happens to tourist in such cases? What is the worst case scenario?what can I say in court? I don't even know why I did it even though I had lots of money to pay for it which the shop keeper saw when they checked my bag.
    Is theft school an option? Will they dismiss my case in any way?
