Has snake meat ever been used as salmon? I have heard of such a thing, but I can find no reference to it on the internet. I bought some salmon, and it smelled different - not bad, not spoiled, just different. It did not have a fishy or salmon smell at all. I cooked it and it tasted different. It did not taste like salmon, and it had no fishy taste at all. It sort of had no flavor at all. It was produced in Chile. It was called Atlantic salmon. I bought two packs, but I am going to take the other pack back to the store. I will be so mad if I found out I ate fake salmon meat, especially if it is snake.

Normally snake meat would be so much costlier I can not see them using it for that.

And it really does not look the same.

Sounds more like bad salmon, just not completely bad yet
