    Well my daughters dad in court this morning for child support said he is going to give up his rights but my Question is will he still have to pay child support?

    He can't give up his rights in "most" States in the US unless/until someone else is ready to adopt the child.

    So, yes, he's still responsible for support, whether he does or doesn't see the child.
