I want custody of my son how do I do this?
My mother has custody of my 3 year old son, I still live with her and in the agreement of singing him over I was to have the same contact with him but she will not let me do anything even when he is crying out for me. I want to fight to get him back but I don't have the money for a lawyer what am I to do

We need more info here. ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area. Why did you sign over custody to your mother in the first place. What EXACTLY did you sign? What is it she isn't allowing you to do?

If you are still living there I doubt if a court would make any changes. You would need to get your own place. And show you could take care of your son first.

@scottGem I live in NE scotland. When I had him I was only 17 and I couldn't handle him. I'm not entirely sure what I singed and that worrys me the most. Anything he could b in her arms crying and screaming for me and when I go to him she pushes me away and she is trying to get him to call her mummy and me by my first name.

Well the first thing you need to do is get a copy of what you signed, then show it to a solicitor. Without knowing what you signed and whether it was ratified by a court we can't tell what else you need to do.

Yes, was what you signed done though the courts.

Next what do you mean "she will not allow" You are there in the house, the baby is in the house, what stops you from walking over to the baby and picking the baby up ?

Ok thank you. I mean she will push me away if I try to pick him up or if I have picked him up she will take him out of my arms and doesn't care if he's clinging to me.
