    Why does my husband want a divorce if he feels he will regert it
    We have been married 8 1/2 years .the last two we did pull away from each other .I love him so much .this was are 1st fight in the 11 years we been together .I did bring up talking to a lawer .he went out and filed the next day .we still live in the same house .I want cuonceling he doesn't .he says he doesn't want to .because divorce can be bought up again and he doesn't want to go throw this again .I know I put him 1st in are marriage every thing was about him .what ever he wanted .I just don't understand why he wants to leave .if he's tell people that he ,ll problery regret it .

    I just ask a question .heres Anthore .my husband is divorceing me .I do not want this at all .he refuses. Council .
    We still live in the same home .I tell him I love him every day .I also tell him I want to work on are marriage .he still refuses .I do not yell at him .Im nice to him. My friends say I'm to nice
    That they would not let him stay until he found a place to kick him out .so am I doing the right thing .I love him too much to act ugly towards him .in fact I did tell him I love you enoch to let you go .I want him to be happy .even thow it's tearing me apart .

    Depending on where you live in the world... he can divorce you without there being an agreement... or vice versa.. you could divorce him without him agreeing.

    Counseling only works if he's willing to try it. You can't force him to go. Personally, I think it's a great idea and should be manditory before allowing a divorce to take place most times... but I don't make the laws.

    Thank you .I know marriage is hard work .to many people walk away from Their marriage .

    If he wants divorce there is little you can do to stop it - you can attempt to delay but not stop it.

    In 11 years you have never argued, you argued this one time and this is the first time you mentioned getting an Attorney AND as a result of this he filed for divorce against you?
