    What is a merit trial in a debt collection case in md
    I got served with papers and was trying to make a settlement offer with no luck so I didn't respond in 15 days> so now I just got a court notice saying original hearing has been canceled and a merit trial has been scheduled but there was no date? What does this mean?

    I plan on moving to Pennsylvania but may face a judgement in Maryland. Can they garnish my wages even though Pa has a non Garnishment law?
