    Relief valve discharges
My well pressure gauge pegs out over 100 I change the relief valve but it still does it I then changed my pressure gauge to make sure it still pegs at over 100 would this be a valve switch problem? Or a tank problem. The tank is a bladder tank inside all valves and equipment together pump is out side 125 ft down. The system is 20 years old.should I change the switch or clean the pipe to it out? Or both. I pressed to bladder valve on top of the tank only air came out no water.

If by "valve switch " you mean control box the answer is yes. 100PSI is way to high. It puts a strain on the water pipe fittings and on all your valves and faucets. 80 PSI tops 45PSI average. Replace the control box with a 30/50 one and charge your bladder tank at 28 PSI. Good luck, Tom
