I had four beers on Friday, will I pass my ETG on Monday at 4PM... My last drink was at 12:35PM and I started at 11:50PM... I need your advise. Please help if you have the time. Thanks Dr. Bill.

Above 60 hours from last drink to test should be plenty of time to clear EtG from 4 beers.

It looks like they use 100mlg for test... is this still your thought?

Also- I had drank approx. 10 12oz beers 70 hours or so before drinking Friday night. Im not sure if that would have affected anything.

I did flush my system with water the last couple days and gatorade... I had read that maybe that would help. I have never taken an ETG test-and have tried to read up-but you seem to have the most knowledge... I really value any thoughts... I took the test at 4pm today which was 63.5 hours from last drink on Friday...

The previous drinking would have no The majority of the research uses 100 ng cutoff. 4 drinks > 60+ hours should be EtG clear.

Please post when you get the results.

Are you saying the drinking from Tuesday night would not have an effect or add "add on" to the ETG totals from drinking Friday night... or give me a higher ETG starting point?

I promise to post my results... you have my word.

EtG is not cumulative. Just like alcohol it begins eliminating within a short time following consumption. Your only concern is the Friday night consumption and that is minimal in relation to time span involved.

Is this of little concern even with the lowest detection(of 100ng/ml)? Im 39.8 years old and have a seemingly above average matabolism... I weigh 175 and am 5'11''

My PO told me that even one drink will show up and that I need to "come" clean...

So worried... the two tall beers were not worth this.

Thank you so much for your quick responses... are you aware of the turnaround time most people get results back? I really appreciate your help. Also-what is the average for four beers EtG... what is the longest you have heard of that consumption showing up on an ETG? What lind of windows am I looking at... If you were to guess? Thanks. Again, the day I get results I will post.

After one drink there has never been a published study that detected EtG at or above 24 hours. Not one single study.

Based on your size, you drank 4 standard drinks (US) amounting to 56 grams of pure alcohol and .71 grams per kilogram of body weight. The EtG clearance time for this amount of alcohol has never exceeded 48 hours. Halter tested measured dose in range of .50 - .78 g/kg with EtG clearance ranging from 27-44 hrs; and Wojcik dosage from .75 - .85 g/kg with EtG clearance <48. Both used 100 ng cutoff.

The scientific research paints a must different picture of the capabilities of EtG testing in contrast to the statements of the commercial laboratories selling the test.

That's very encouraging! Thank you. With your extensive interaction with people in this forum and others... have you heard of an expierience of someone failing after four beers? Not from research but maybe just in chat rooms or blogs... ive looked, but unfortunately people don't post the results too often-dont know why? Eiether they are in jail or got a pass and didn't have to worry anymore... who knows?

Don't know of anyone that has failed above 48 hours. There are numerous cases of individuals that have failed by false positives (due to inhalation of alcohol etc at low levels)

The average individual isn't going to fail after drinking 1-4 drinks because the EtG has been eliminated. No matter how sensitive the test it cannot detect what isn't there.

Following are a few that passed in your approximate time range:

42 hours from last drink, 4 beers, F-135 23yo (500 cutoff) >LINK

59 hours, 6 drinks, 5 beers (Mich Ultra 4.1%) glass of wine (12.75). F-115, 5'3” >LINK

66 hours from last drink, 4 beers (2 24oz Miller Lite) M-23 150 lb consumed in 2 hours >LINK

Hey... I passed my test with 100 cut off. I appreciate your help and discussion. It really helped me get through the waiting period... I will never put myself in that position again. Thanks Dr. Bill
