About nine months ago this guy and I started hooking up and spending some time together, but after a while I ended it because I was developing feelings for someone else. He was upset, and said he would fight for me and offered to start getting to know me more the other way round (emotional before physical). If that makes sense. Nothing else ever really happened from that as I ignored him a bit, which I now regret.

So about 3 or 4 months ago we started hooking up again, as I realize I missed him. Now however he seems somewhat distant, and less interested maybe even. I don't know if this is because he is putting his guard up so as to not get hurt, like I hurt him previously, or if he has no interest in me besides our physical relationship. I only slept with him for the first time about a month ago. We have also never spoken about what "we" are (friends with benefits or casual relationship etc)

I have started getting feelings for him (I know I was warned about this) but don't know whether having a conversation will result in me being upset, or us starting a true relationship.

As well as this, IF I do have a talk with him and he says he doesn't want anything more, I still want to keep "hooking up", is this possible?

Ask him, see what he says. He may go along with your idea, he may NOT! Never know until you ask!

Hanging out is a form of non committed dating, where its okay to make out with no strings attached, and if sex happens... cool!
