    My friend wants to leave her kids!
    My friend wants to leave her husband for another guy. The thing is she has 2 kids. She wants to leave then too. We don't think that is right but we don't know how to convince her not to. She says she is going to leave her kids with me. But is that supporting her? Help! Please ASAP!

    WHy isn't the father taking them... he has the right to them if she's going to bail... she can't just hand them over to you or anyone else... other than the father.

    Nice friends you have there.
    Just because her relationship is going south it doesn't mean she has the right to destroy all faith her CHILDREN have in her, all for some simple slap and tickle.

    Because the father works all day and doesn't have enough time to take good care of them.

    So, not only does she want to leave her husband but she wants to abandon her children. Does she realize he can make her pay child support?

    And no she can't give the kids to anyone. The father would have to give permission for that and courts are not likely to allow it.

    She can leave her husband, but her husband will just come to your door and take the kids, so he works, he puts the kids in day care like a 1000 other people. You have no legal rights to the kids and can not just "take them like they were puppies"
